ABOUT

I work and live in Seattle, Washington, but I can coach virtually, so I can see you wherever you live! I also have an office space in NE Seattle, so I can see you or your family in-person on Saturdays. I am an AACC, a coaching certificate earned at ADDCA, which is the global leader in ADD Life Coach Training. This program is rigorous and highly regarded worldwide. I am also pursuing certification with the ICF, which is the International Coaching Federation. I am a member of the ACO (ADD Coaches Organization) and a member of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder).

My work history includes supporting and managing neurodiverse kids and teens as an Instructional Assistant and tutor for 10 years in Seattle Public Schools. This role gave me an understanding of neurodiversity in the real world that frankly, no other experience can equal. During that time I was not only learning about neurodiversity through my job, but being the curious person I am, I was continually reading and learning and building a whole menu of knowledge and tools. Within that school journey, my own kids were diagnosed with ADHD, and I thought “huh, I wonder if this is me, too!” With that realization and my own diagnosis, I’ve gone down the ADD rabbit hole, learning everything I could get my hands on so you don’t have to. I have a huge wealth of knowledge after all these years, and I’d like to share it with you.

Here are just a few examples of some of the issues I can help you or your family with:

I’d like to point out that at first glance this list seems to include both functional issues and deeper issues related to feelings and self-worth. There’s a reason why - they’re related! As we work together in partnership, we’ll tackle both the WHY of the issue, as well as the HOW. Many of the difficulties we have living in the world are related to the ways our brains function and perceive the world differently, and we can create new, healthier brain function and perception with support and practice.

Don’t get me wrong, this will take work, and here are some of the strategies I employ during coaching to help you change yours, or your child’s brain:

  • Neurobiological Awareness

  • Interoceptive Training

  • Mindfulness Training

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Tools

  • Social Skills Training

There are so many ways that ADHD or Executive Dysfunction makes life hard and exhausting. Let’s work together to make it easier for you or for your family. I believe you can do it!
